​Hmm..where to begin...

The idea (eye-deer) is to bounce creativity off each other for inspiration. Normally we do this due to artists' block and it helps create that momentum to inspire others and lift our spirits at the same time. 

 

I am self-taught because art school feels too restrictive although I learnt the basics in highschool, I like the freedom to venture into all art styles. I'm inspired and influenced by many different things, movements and people. I like  classical renaissance and vanitas styled artworks to the contemporary, meaningful and fun. But most importantly, my dreams has been the biggest influence and I draw inspiration from them every night. This is why I love surrealism and illustrative styles-- painting and drawing something that defy physics and making things look so dream-like but at the same time, real. M.C Escher, Dali, Magritt and Gleeson are my favourite oldschool artists.

 

I use art as an escape from the daily grind like art therapy, it's a good practice for patience and it calms the mind. I hope to create more artworks, inspire people and teach others different techniques.
